[REQ] Custom Iliad Firmware with dual-boot!

Hi,

since the sources are now all there, I'd like to ask our capable developers whether something like this would be possible:

Give the Iliad two boot-modes. One goes into standard, full-featured Iliad mode with Wifi, Ethernet and Wacom, just like always. The other mode just loads the essentials.

The background?

Simple, I want a "Book Mode" that boots faster and uses less power. Maybe somebody could even implement Suspend in this mode.
There would have to be a Settings menu where you can select which mode is to be activated at next reboot.
If this Dual-Boot mode is too complicated I'd be just as happy with a modified firmware that always boots into "Book-Mode" since I don't really use the other functions of the Iliad anyway (to be honest, I have not used my Iliad in Months because my STAReBOOK @ Cybook is much more convenient).

Thanks.
