Convert to ePub adds extra tabs
Hi there, I've converted an ePub out to ePub again, and it's added an extra indent before each paragraph in the book. This does not appear in the Calibre viewer, but when I open the ePub in iBooks, it's showing that extra indent.
It retains the original formatting, in that the first paragraph has no indent, the second paragraph has the original indent, and every paragraph from there on has an extra indent. See screenshot. Any ideas how to fix this behavior? Thanks in advance. Last edited by navyo; 07-01-2016 at 04:59 AM. Reason: Added image and clarified question. |

Problem solved. Tabs were found in iBooks Author source file and deleted.

'Tabs' is not the proper usage for the term Indent that your later post showed. Tab the (chr) is IGNORED in source except for Code display. Tabs as we tend to use them, is more like file folder tabs found in Preference Settings, Virtual Libraries (display)... Which is probably why you did not get any response. |
