Series Column on Device List?

I have a Kindle Touch. I know I cannot manage collections via Calibre; that is not the issue. When I look at the list of books on my Touch, I see a Collection column, which is quite useless. I cannot figure out how, if it is possible, to display the Series column for the books on my Touch. I can see the Series column in my Library but not on my Touch. Is it possible to show the Series column when looking at the list on the Device? How?

Only the columns you see are available on the device view.
But Wait, there is more...

There is a Tick mark next to the books that are on the device (click the column header to sort them together) when the device is attached.

True, but that is the library view, not the device view.

But it tells you all about the books it finds on the device (except WHERE it is stored).
