Trying to transfer book to 505 memory card

I am trying to transfer a book on my Sony 505 in ebook library to memory card on the reader. when I drag the book to sd card in source window, nothing happens. what am I doing wrong?

It sounds like you're trying to move a book directly from internal memory on the reader to a memory card using ebook library?

First drag the book to Library (at the top - it's your desktop's version of the database) and then drag the book from Library to the memory card. Since this is copying the book instead of moving it, you'll probably want to delete the dupe from your internal memory afterwards.

Why it won't let you move it directly is beyond me.
