perchance, to dream......

As if there isn't enough to already to complain about, what the Sony really needs, is an interactive ficton interpreter......
....so I could lose at Hitchhiker.......again........

The potential for interactive fiction is already in place. Of the early sort, of course. The type where the original printed interactive novels ended a page with a statement like "If you think he should enter the swamp go to page 135. If you think he should stay out of the swamp, go to page 168." It would be relatively easy to program such things using Book Designer and bookmarks, which would work on all three of the Sony Readers.

The specific page numbers like the original printed interactive fiction wouldn't work because at different font sizes the page numbers change.

But he nicked it from Bill S., whom I suspect the original poster was quoting .
