I cannot seem to find out for certain the answer to this:
Does the current version of calibre 0.8.56 recognise this device? It does not appear that it does. I can still send files to the vox via the save to disc option, but not the other (save to device?) |

Many Android device present themselves to Windows as a MTP device, and not an USB Mass Storage device.
calibre expects to see a USB Mass Storage device, but can use the "Save to Disk" option to access an MTP device. |
