Script for fixing covers on B&N Nook Color

I bought a Nook Color last week and found that many of my epubs had problems displaying their covers properly. I read through the forum on some of the fixes and I put together a script that (hopefully) makes those fixes automatically.

The script as it stands is probably best for people with knowledge of command line tools or scripting languages. It is written in Python and also requires a commandline zip.exe and unzip.exe. I included them in the attached zip archive but both programs can be found here: http://stahlforce.com/dev/index.php?tool=zipunzip Once I feel happy that its working the way it should, I plan to rewrite it to use the zip libraries in python and distribute it as an executable.

To use it, unzip into a work directory and use it as:

/path-to-python/python.exe fixepub.py /path-to-nook-books/
