Any chance of a CHM Reader?
Hi
I own an iliad BE. Its a great device, but slow and feel its kind of fragile. So I am kind of thinking about getting a kindle DX. I will mainly for reading tech docs so I need to have support for pdf and chm files. So, how feasible is it to push a chm reader hack into the kindle DX? Any pointers will be helpful. Thanks hari |

The chm is based on HTML pages, so the hack is supposed to be based on a Web browser, if there is one. As a workaround, I use windows hh command to decompile the chm file into pages and then merge them into PDF file. It looks good.

Hi thanks for your reply.
do u simply extract and use a pdf printer of sorts to print and append to a single pdf file? it would be real painful to do this manually for anything but small chms.. |
