Oeffentlich im Forum keine Tips, weil die Online Stores und Verleger dieses Forum beobachten und in der Vergangenheit einige Hintertuerchen nach Veroeffentlichung hier gleich geschlossen haben!

Immer zu empfehlen ist aber VPN o.ae. um eine amerikanische IP Adresse zu bekommen. Die wird in den meisten Faellen gecheckt. Da das Geld ja wirklich abgebucht wird, entsteht kein Schaden, ich stehe der Frage nach der Legalitaet also sehr gelassen gegenueber. Fuer Amazon ist es natuerlich Vertragsbruch an Auslaender zu diesen Konditionen zu verkaufen. Aber die ergreifen so viele Massnahmen um das zu verhindern, dass eine Klage gegen sie wohl auch kaum Erfolg haette.

Okay, Verantwortliche vor: Wer von euch hat gekauft?

Dafür sind jetzt auch die ersten Klappentexte online. Ich habe jetzt beschlossen, 25-50 Titel zu versuchen und zu sehen, wie sich die Verkäufe entwickeln. Mit dem "Umweg" über das US-Konto lassen sich ja die Gebühren sparen, und je nach Wechselkurs wird der Band dann sogar etwas günstiger als in Deutschland.
Hofft auf einen schwachen Dollar ...

Wenn du nach "story2go german" suchst, bekommst du alle Titel angezeigt. Und (bisher) sogar ohne "Querschläger".

Nachtrag: Bislang habe ich 26 Titel eingetragen, der größte Teil wartet jetzt natürlich auf Freischaltung.

"Nett" ist natürlich auch: Amazon zahlt mir 35% von meinem festgelegten Preis, nicht von dem, den die Kunden zahlen dürfen. Der Aufschlag landet also zu 100% bei Amazon und/oder AT&T.

Mit der Öffnung für ausländische Publisher sollte nun aber endgültig eine Sortierung nach Sprache im Kindle Store möglich sein ... oder geht das schon und ich hab es nur nicht gefunden?

Womit sie in jedem Fall recht haben, ist dass es ein Unding ist, dass man derzeit für in den USA kostenlose Titel des Kindle Stores aus Europa etwas zahlen muss (Aber Amazon sagte ja "Nein, es gibt keine Roaming-Gebühren"). Die eBook-Datenbank von MR und USB ist für gemeinfreie Werke die eindeutig bessere Alternative...

Ooooh, ja ... aber dafür müsste man sinnvollerweise auch die Kindle offiziell über DE verkaufen und die ganze Infrastruktur aufbauen. Das für jeden Markt einzeln zu machen, ist kostspielig. Aber letztlich unumgänglich.

Macht für Amazon keinen Sinn. Das geht über eine angelegte US-Zweitadresse schneller und unkomplizierter. Und selbst mit "richtiger" US-Adresse müsste ich dann mit Kreditkarte zahlen, und spätestens dann schiebt Amazon den Riegel vor, wenn die Karte nicht in den USA registriert ist.

Der Trick scheint doch so zu sein, daß man an US-unlocked zahlt. Diese treten dann als Käufer mit US-Credit-Card auf und senden die Ware dann an die Adresse außerhalb der USA weiter.

Nein, die Firmen wie US-unlocked (ich habe shipito benuetzt) zahlen nicht selbst. So ein "Einkaufsservice" wird bei denen zwar angeboten, ist aber unverhaeltnismaessig teuer (15% oder so). Ich habe z.B. bei Amazon USA Elektronik eingekauft die nur in den USA geliefert werden darf, und bei Amazon online mit meiner lokalen Kreditkarte aus Taiwan bezahlt. Das ist bei nicht digitalen, sondern realen Objekten kein Problem. Von Shipito bekomme ich eine Adresse, da schickt Amazon das Zeug hin und Shipito leitet das dann an mich nach Taiwan weiter. Die US Kreditkarte ist nur fuer Downloads notwendig, bei "gegenstaendlichen Sachen" geht jede Kreditkarte aus der Welt in Ordnung, wichtig ist nur die US Versandadresse.

Fuer Ebooks gehen ja die ueblichen Tricks (oder sind gar nicht mehr noetig wie MGMueller meint).

Sie sind tatsächlich nicht mehr nötig. Ich habe gerade in meinem US-Account meine deutsche Mastercard eingetragen und konnte fleißig und günstig einkaufen.

Man muss nur aufpassen, dass man sich die eBooks dann auf den heimischen PC schicken lässt und nicht auf den Kindle, da sonst 2 US$ Roaming-Gebühren pro Titel fällig werden.
Wenn man den Kindle während des Kaufens einsteckt, wählt man den Kindle zum Abspeichern aus und lässt sich die Datei von Amazon aufs Lesegerät schicken.

Jetzt hab ich den neuesten King statt für 24.80 auf Deutsch für umgerechnet 7.50. Fünfzehn solche Einkäufe, und der Kindle hat sich komplett refinanziert ...
