Have you tried opening the bin with 7z?
Sometimes 7z allows opening of bin archive files; though not saying it works here. |

didn't work next thing I did was to install WinCE 6.0 Dev kit (VS 2005 + WinCE 6.0 Platform builder), but the Platform builder doesn't recognize the bin hexedit doesn't show any obvious character trails..... most (or actually, every WinCE 6.0 bin I've seen so far) contains B000F as the first few characters, and requires more than just one .bin file ... so ecatco has their own program that runs on boot-up to decompress those bin... I'm thinking JTAG is the only way (unless you manage to crash the GUI with some bad formed PDF) Last edited by paperwastage; 03-07-2012 at 07:18 PM. |

the device is "rooted". Most people would be surprised how much is there with WinCE and what it looks like in its own clothes. Luck; Ken |

JBC scribbles added in jCrossSkecth
Ok, I have done.
jCrossSketch now support JBC scribble and we can convert with other supported format (TOP,IRX,SVG and Jarnal) http://sourceforge.net/projects/jcrosssketch/ Last version is: http://sourceforge.net/projects/jcro...2.zip/download p.s.: collaborations in this project are wellcame Last edited by mod186k1; 03-08-2012 at 01:54 PM. |

Both vids seem interesting, how quickly they load! Windows CE provided with the Jetbook does not load as fast! |

"Edit" and select all then to "Object" and Flip vertical. Just for the heck of it, how many objects did Inkscape find in the file? Luck; Ken Last edited by Ken Maltby; 03-08-2012 at 03:42 PM. |

I still prefer to look towards an open source / linux-based version... Freescale has android BSPs.... I have access to WinCE 6.0 and 7 via Dreamspark for free, but i'm only supposed to do personal/academic stuff on it, which means anything I work on can;t be released to the public Quote:

Gimp2 takes the SVG through a rendering process, that appears to have flattened the
image but retained any transparency. In other words the objects are not defined any more. With Inkscape you can deconstruct the image selecting and moving the objects. The images behind the objects are complete objects themselves, the part that objects in front of them coverup are there. In Gimp2 there are no objects, just layers. Luck; Ken |

It's clear, Gimp deals with raster image. But I mean only for a test to see if flip vertical occurs

I might make something quick using iText ( java based, so cross-platform to insert the scribbles / lines into the pdf itself
1) Can someone post a sample scribble file so that I can see how they look like and test them (post the pdf that you scribbled on as well) just some reference websites that I can consult tmr when coding: Drawing lines in iText Last edited by paperwastage; 03-08-2012 at 11:53 PM. |
