Epub Conversion

I apologize in advance if this has already been covered, but I did not have any luck searching for an answer.
I converted a book in lit format to epub using calibre 0.7.2. The book opens just fine in calibre reader but will not open correctly in adobe digital editions or on my nook. I should say it does open but it only displays blank pages. I get one page with the title, another with a calibre page and the rest are blank. The page numbers are correct, but the pages are blank.

Were you able to get this fixed? I'm experiencing the same issue. I just upgraded to the current version and still am encountering blank pages after the cover (only when viewed on the nook).

I have converted .lit files that display blank pages
In my instance it is becase they have non standard paragraph break symbols
I convert to .rtf and replace the carriage returns

^l with ^p works in microsoft word. Then I convert to epub

I have not had any luck yet but I am going to try .rtf conversion first.
