Got my Kindle and.......oops!

Well I got the Kindle2. I usually read the heck out of instruction manuals before trying to operate a new machine or electronic device but the Kindle is so easy to use and the instructions are all on it anyway. So, I get to the part about downloading books. Hmmm, It would be nice to have a couple of books I have not read in years so with the touch of a button I had them on my Kindle. How about a few books from the best seller list that I have not been able to get to...No Problemo! I have not read the NY Times in Years it sure would be nice to have access to it, just a click away! Whoa, wait a minute Phil, any idea how much money you just spent? Now I know that there are free books out there but my desire to read Wuthering Heights and the such passed long ago. I really think, though, that I am going to have to set up a monthly "Kindle Books" budget or this could get out of hand.

Lots of people find it 'too easy' to buy on the Kindle so a budget might be a good idea.

Welcome to the forums.
My way to avoid buying to many books is : finish your book before buying new ones
