What happened with the prices?

Hello, this is my first post here and I have never owned an ebook reader. After extensive lurking I decided to buy the PRS-600 and started looking for it on Ebay (I live in Brazil, thus Ebay was my only option). What is wrong with the prices? The cheapest I found was 389 dollars! Is it out of stock or something?

Also, would you guys happen to know a shop that sells abroad?

By the way, this forum is an excellent source of information .

Most, if not all, retailers appear to be out of them at the moment. Certainly something that won't last though.

ebay's prices are always weird. even old stuff is the same price as new things.

do you know anyone in the US (etc) you could ask to forward a package for you? i did that to get my reader in japan (i asked my parents).

That's a good idea, unfortunately I don't know anyone in the U.S.

However, if there is a good soul willing to buy it and ship for me, I would pay the price of the reader and shipping (obviously) and a little extra (for the effort).
