EPUB to PDF - unable to convert

Hello,

I am unable to convert an EPUB file (29 MB) to PDF.
At the end of the conversion process I get the error message below.
Unfortunately, I don't know the exact English terms, so I have translated freely from German for the red-coded parts. Where I have shortened, it says XXX instead.

Only at the very end of the error message is there an error note, but I don't understand it and I don't know if this might be the only hint to what went wrong:
"ValueError: The number of header/footers pages (42314) != number of document pages (48270)"
