Conversion azw3 to mobi - drm problem

I've got v. 6.1.0 of the DeDRM plugin installed in Calibre v. 2.20. I believe 6.1.0 is the latest version.

When I try to convert an azw3 book to mobi, I get a locked because of
DRM error.

Is there any way around this?

MobileRead guidelines forbid us from discussing DeDRM tools in-depth... although we can discuss it in the abstract, so it might be worth noting that as a filetype plugin it only runs when you import the book, NOT when you convert the book. Any actions such a plugin might take would of course apply if you delete the book and re-add it.
