I could not find the rss feeds there. That is why I asked. On that page there are a dozen or so stories under News and Buzz. Is that what i should write the recipe for or is there a page on the site where there is a table of contents from which you get all the stories you want?

My preference would be a recipe for the US Edition, that downloads news stories (not video, TV, or Opinions) as organized on the CNN.com website. The site carries a lot of articles, so I don't think the recipe should download articles older than ~24 hours at the time of download.
(Of course there are many users of that recipe, so opinions could vary...)

Yes, those feeds are fine, but only the fresh stories. As mentioned, my preference would be 24 hours old at most, as most of us download news daily.

I'm experiencing the same problem. The new CNN web site is so bad, I think, that they may have to make more changes soon. My guess is that they were trying to make it friendlier to tablets and other devices with tiny screens, but it ends up lousy for regular web browsers.
