Arrow New keyboard layouts for M92

Hi all,

I'd like to change the keyboard of the M92 (in the horizontal position; -- and not ¦), so the buttons would be half sized and there could be twice as many buttons...
Especially for writing text files and editing code would it be very useful.

Also I would like to change some keyboard layouts ...

Thx for tips!

P.S.: Sorry, my english is horrible...

Welcome to Mobileread.

No, your English is NOT horrible. I'm an English teacher.

Your English is much better than some native English speakers, so please don't worry.

I think, the SW keyboard is "hardcoded" and so cannot be modified by user. There might some way to do it, but I do not know of any and as far as I remember nobody in past 2 years mentioned he/she managed to do it.

I just found it in the SDK (look at GitHub):
booxsdk/code/src/ui/keyboard.cpp and ./(language)_keyboard_data.cpp

It's anything hardcoded! Thats very bad because one has to compile anything new for small changes like correcting positions etc.
