Touch 3g
Any rumors of a touch 3g coming? I know there are a lot of opinions on whether or not anyone needs 3g, but it's a feature I enjoy and use often. Seems to me it would be the type of upgrade they'd offer 6 months after the launch of the first Touch, but normally you'd be hearing rumors right about now.

I haven't heard anything. I understand that some people like the 3G feature, but I believe those are in the minority, especially when WiFi spots are so common nowadays. Given the limited need of 3G these days, and the extra effort in terms on development and the associated costs, we may well have seen the end of "free 3G for life" on eReaders.

Hope it changes, but if not it saves me a few bucks in the meantime. |
