Unable to "set-up" my new Pocket Edge...

I received my pocket edge yesterday and made sure to fully charged up the battery before turning it on to begin the set-up/ register phase, but I cannot get past step 5 of 11! It will connect with my wifi and then has me select timezone, but when it comes to the update piece it takes HOURS -- four hours the last time I tried -- to go through the downloading of the updates, and then right when I think we can get on to step 6, it will reboot on it's own and we go through the whole process again!?! To think, I have high-speed broadband internet access too! I'm getting ready to fling this thing against a wall!!! Has anyone experienced this or did I just get a lemon?

If you've inserted a micro SD card in the slot, I recommend you remove it, as well anything plugged into the USB port and try again.

I'm guessing these two probably don't apply, in which case you can contact Tech Support to get immediate assistance.

Finally -- set-up is done!

I wanted to post back on this thread just in case someone else has run into this issue. I did get an email from entourage support, and they recommended that I download the updates onto a usb drive, connect it to my pocket edge, and then power up. It worked like a charm! I was able to finally update and complete my set-up process.

enTourage has used this manual update process in the past for problem situations.

I have the same problem, ¿where can I download the updates? I can't find them.

Use the "Update" app in your list of applications (drag the "X" symbol at the bottom of the LCD screen upwards and scroll through the list to find it).
