Unclocking or Overclocking eDGe processor.
I apologize beforehand if this has been asked and answered anywhere in this forum, I searched and searched and didn't find anything before starting this thread.
Does anyone know how to unclock or overclock the eDGe processor such that we can make use of the processor's total clock speed of 1.2ghz instead of the 800mhz the processor is clocked at now? Has anyone given this a try? If so, what were the results? I know that unclocking the processor to run at the full 1.2ghz speed most likely means less battery life, but that is a trade off I'm willing to live with if it gets my eDGe snappier and a faster response time. Let us know if anyone has done this or has tried doing it. Thanks, |

also the issue of fanless tablet at 1.2 ghz could burn your cpu, but setcpu has the option to set in profile to underclock the cpu if temps go above a certain level.
