Bluetooth keyboard & mouse?

Is it possible to connect and use a Bluetooth keyboard & mouse to the eDGe?

or a RF like Prolink PCBO 5304G http://www.prolink2u.com/new/products/index.php?cid=193

Bluetooth keyboard is reportedly in the works. A mouse may be more difficult. Android isn't a mouse-ish OS.

Several other have reported success with wireless keyboards that come with wireless USB dongles.

I've hooked up a Bluetooth Logitech Wave keyboard/mouse combo via the USB-bluetooth transmitter that came with the combo. The keyboard works great, the mouse input is rather erratic and not very useful though.

In these cases the keyboard is hardwired to talk to that transmitter and the edge sees it as an external USB keyboard.
When the edge directly supports a bluetooth keyboard the internal bluetooth will allow a bluetooth keyboard to connect without tying up a USB port. I have an Apple keyboard waiting to test that software update when it is released.

I tested a small USB keyboard and the RF wireless Prolink PCBO 5304G http://www.prolink2u.com/new/products/index.php?cid=193 it works fine on the eDGe. I was really surprised to see the RF wireless dongle for the keyboard/mouse set working. Nice! Even the mouse "works", you can move the text cursor with it, still a separate mouse cursor would be better.

That the Android is not a "mouse" OS is not the argument. Over at the ipad they got a jailbreak ipad hooked up with bluetooth keyboard and mouse. And they got mouse cursor on the ipad. It is a matter of software development. And placing the eDGe as a netbook it should naturally support keyboard and mouse, in case user want to use it and stay productive.
