Stripper
Do you know of any free e-book DRM-stripping software for Windows? I just want a simple program where I can put in encrypted e-books and take out non-DRMed e-books. Is there any software like that that can automatically crack the encryption and automatically remove the DRM for e-books, audiobooks, and/or Kindle apps?

Google is your friend. We do not encourage discussion of DRM removal tools here at MR.

As Harry states, try Google - and then watch some results come back to MR |

I don't want to remove the DRM for illegal purposes, I just want to be able to do things like download previously DRM-encrypted .mobi books to my Kindle 3.

Does anyone know if this is a legit. company? I am afraid to download anything without knowing. I do not want to infect my computer with anything.
Thanks |

They have a free trial and $29.99 to buy it. I was going to try it but a dialog box popped up asking if I trusted the site, because it did not have some kind of license.

Probably what it did not have was a security certificate - but that doesn't necessarily mean there is anything wrong with it.
