ERROR: Cannot add books: Failed to add any books

Got an error when I try to add new books out of sudden:

calibre, version 6.12.0
ERROR: Cannot add books: Failed to add any books, click "Show details" for more information.

Failed to start worker process

Most likely UAC or your anti-virus is blocking calibre-worker
What version of Windows?

You probably need to tell your security suite that Calibre and workers are OK to run. (sorry, can't provide the steps, still on W10. my HW is too old and the one time I did help a friend set up W11, I hated it)
