Nook readers and Nookanalytics?

Perhaps this is a FAQ in which case I'll apologize in advance..

Is there a list of which Nook device firmware versions and software releases which incorporated the Nookanalytics package?

Nookanalytics were discussed 2+ years ago - this is the built in capability that uploads all user actions on the device, such as side loaded titles, time spent per page, and every button click.

I seem to recall that the NST didn't get this capability until some post-release firmware.

For example, the IOS version of the Nook app does not use Nookanalytics, but appears to use the third party "fiksu" service to record similar information.

I've never heard anything about any of this. I'll have to look into it. Does this information just get sent back to B&N or is there any way that a user can access his or her own data?

For sideloaded epubs, it sends the title of the book in the "EAN" field.
The IOS app doesn't upload as often as other clients, so it is harder to tell that the submission is happening

In ADDITION, the IOS apps sends "events" to "CRITTERCISM" and "FIKSU", both third party information collection services - I can't confirm this on other clients.

THE FACT THAT IT DOES THIS IS VERY UNSATISFACTORILY. It is none of B&N business what I side load or read!!!@

If you can do that, let me know how.

The data is sent as a secure POST to bncs.barnesandnoble.com/bncloud/RESTupload

This is different than the URL for the encoded BN communications: bncs.barnesandnoble.com/bncloud/serviceD?version=1

However since they share the same address, you would need a MITM certificate and URL-based blocking at your router.
