It Happened In Florida: A Trilogy of Works Written About the Saint Augustine Area. Consisting Of 1. The St. Johns River (with A. J. Hanna), (Omitted from this volume due to copyright considerations) 2. There Were Two Pirates (1946) 3. The Devil’s Own Dear Son (1949) Short novels featuring pirates, the surprising behaviour of the devil’s son, told with irony and detachment. The first novel features a pirate king who becomes detached from his shadow which assumes a life of its own. The second story has a man discovering and visiting his demonic dad. Thanks are due to Ralph Sir Edward who found the text and did a lot of proof-reading. |
