prs-650 firmware on prs-600?

Hello all you experts!

I was wondering, since the 600 and 650 seem to be very similar apart from the screen, is there a way to load the firmware of the 650 on the 600, to take advantage of the new features? Sony doesn't seem to be willing to provide an official firmware update...

is it possible just to port only some features? like the zoom on pdf files ?

It wouldn't be "porting" but rather "implementing it on 600.

its src code is somewhere out there so it wouldnt be difficult for someone who knows what to do with it
