verbindung von prs505 zu pc/calibre
hallo,

habe alle meine ebooks auf dem pc in calibre konvertiert/importiert und kann diese von calibre aus über 'auf festplatte' speichern auch auf den reader übertragen.

aber calibre erkennt meinen 505 nicht. die funktion 'an reader senden' ist nicht aktiviert, somit bekomme ich durch das reine speichern meine metainformationen nicht mit überspielt; kann somit meine buecher nicht richtig verwalten.

habe jetzt schon alles mögliche probiert - aber es gelingt mir nicht.

hat jemand eine idee was ich noch probieren sollte.

ich arbeite unter windows. auf einem pc win2000 auf dem zweiten win xp.

auf beiden wird der 505 als wechsellaufwerk z.b.

F:Wechseldatentraeger angezeigt. (mit den verzeichnissen auf dem reader. dorthinein kann ich auch die bücher kopieren/speichern)

der name prs505 wird aber nicht angezeigt.

info ausreichend für analyse ?

Starte mal über die Kommandozeile den Befehl calibre-debug -d und poste dann die Ausgabe...mal sehen, ob Calibre dein PRS-505 überhaupt irgendwie im System wahrnimmt...

Ok, das ist nicht normal. Hast Du sowohl Memory-Stick als auch SD-Karte im Reader? Wenn ja versuchs mal nur mit einem von beidem. Wenn das nicht hilft, dann poste den Trace mal im Calibre-Forum. Kovid schaut dann sicherlich mit der bekannt schnellen Geschwindigkeit mal nach...

danke fürs schnelle nachschauen.

habe weder stick noch sd karte im einsatz. nur 'plain' reader.

ok werde es im calibre forum posten.
