Frozen "Go to" screen

Is there anybody who can advise me on how to get the "go to" screen off my main screen . Everything else functions fine but this screen won´t disappear even when the battery empties and I recharge it.
Thanking you in advance

How can everything else be fine, w/ a "go to" menu screen open?......a bit confused. When my Kindle has locked up.....hitting the screen saver/power button usually unlocked it.

Are you saying a drop menu is always on the screen.......too weird.

Try restarting the Kindle, by either

-- going through the menu (Menu button -> Settings -> Menu button - Restart)
-- holding the slider switch for 15 - 40+ seconds until the Kindle reboots.

Try a Kindle Reset.

If the problem persists - you are likely to have a faulty eInk screen/controller that requires warranty replacement.
