Has the Kobo store patch up for the Heartbleed bug?
There wasn't any announcement on Kobo's website about the Heartbleed bug that can exposed millions of passwords and personal information, including credit-card numbers and email accounts. Wondering if Kobo has patch up their servers for this Heartbleed vulnerability.

Kobobooks.com doesn't appear to be vulnerable to Heartbleed. Does something make you think it is?

It was a question. News report said many websites are affected including Facebook, Gmail, Yahoo mail, Dropbox etc.
Good to know that SSL Labs "certified" Kobo as safe. I did some searching and found a LastPass report that is uncertain if Kobo is safe. https://lastpass.com/heartbleed/?h=kobobooks.com SSL Labs seems to have a more thorough report though. |

IIRC Kobo uses IIS and IIS doesn't use OpenSSL so there should be no worries about Heartbleed and Kobo.

Yeah, I've been changing passwords all evening. At least they have patched up now, according to CNET.

It is so hard to come up with unique, hard to crack passwords. I'm glad Kobo wasn't one of the sites affected. I changed my Google, Facebook and Instagram passwords. I need to change my Dropbox password too even though I don't use it often.
