I know last weekend I think it was the Server's ISP was hit with a DDOS attack. Perhaps it is occuring again?
Although I am having no trouble with the site today. BOb |

It's really strange, and definitely hit or miss for me. Right now, everything appears fine. In a few minutes (if history repeats itself), things will slow down again.

Backup snapshots have been limited to 2 per day, during times with lesser server load.
There have been reported attacks recently on the network we are located. But we have been told that this is now under control. We are planning to expand our server infrastructure to better balance the increasing load. |

It would be helpful if you could post a tracelog and a ping log when the slow down occurs. Thanks!

Thank you for the tracelog. Your slowdown seems to be related to routes reaching our network through Peer1 - the same as a few days ago when the network was under a DDoS attack. I have opened a ticket for review.
Update Sept 23: I received word from the network administrator that there was a problem with Peer1 uplink. It should be solved now. If you're having connectivity problems again and if they are apparent in the traceroute, please, if you can, send me a private message with the full trace- and ping logs (including your source IP address).
