kindle wont show books
Hi Everyone, newbie to all this kindle stuff but i need some guidance

i have downloaded a couple of epub books and set them up in a library using Calibre. now my problem is this

in windows when i plug my kindle in, my computer shows all my books in the documents folder

in Calibre if i open my device it shows all the books, if i open the library within calibre it shows all the books.

all good so far, however when i unplug my kindle from my pc and go to my home page there is no books there!!!! ive tried all combinations of recent/author etc. Docs/Books and all items, still nothing

any ideas? ive tried rebooting even went as far as resetting the device (safe in the knowledge that all my books are in the library on my pc

im frustrated

Have you converted the ePubs to Mobi? Kindle's don't support ePub. (well the Fire will with a sideloaded app).

Which Kindle do you have, you don't say?
