Pure hilarity! Intro from Iain Bank's "The Business"
Go to the Amazon.com look inside page and search for "teesh", then click on the first page, and let hilarity ensue.

Excellent book and well worth reading, though I have no idea why they're charging so much for the paperback. I got my copy from them for $12 or $13 a few years ago. Here's an epub copy that you can get for about $11 after currency conversions.

Did anybody else, whose first Iain Banks book was "The Business", end up assuming the author was a woman?
I did. I like to think because he wrote his female protagonist convincingly... but I'm wondering if that was anybody else's experience. - Ahi |
