CBR files?

Is there any way for Kindle Fire to display CBR files? With so much emphasis on its comic reading uses, I think it should be able to handle CBR files. Converting to CBR files to JPEG is hardly appetizing and I don't even consider that a work-around

I've been using Perfect Viewer for comics. It supports CBR:

If you can figure out how to side-load, the Android Market version is free to try (donation requested):

There are many other ways other than the Market to sideload the app.
obsessed2 made a thread here with alternative markets that allow you to download apps directly to your PC.

for .cbr files on the fire - just rename them .rar. you can then unpack them to the individual pictures (each page is a single pic). then just use a program to print as .pdf. I use 'bullzip' (freeware)

just select the pics and print, selecting bullzip as the printer. it will make your pics a .pdf file to view in your 'docs' tab in the fire.
