Allerdings - ich habe die eBooks damals auf meiner 21 Zoll CRT Röhre gelesen - deswegen fallen mir jetzt auch die Haare aus ;o).

Der Betreiber von ebookz.org hatte damals auch Besuch von der Polizei bekommen. Habe mich später mal mit ihm unterhalten.

Ich habe schon 1995 eBooks gelesen (damals auf dem Acrobat unter DOS) - das war die Anleitung derr Ultima Underworld Collection ;o).

Das Gonzo ist nicht tot. Dort riechts nur so!

KoopaOne hat schon recht. Dort herrscht tote Hose. Da wird über Detailfragen gestritten die keinen interessieren. Sowas konnte man auch schon in anderen Boards beobachten bevor sie zu Grunde gingen. Schade eigentlich.

Mal was anderes:
Wo kauft ihr eigentlich eure deutschsprachigen eBooks?
Ich suche meistens bei Mobipocket, Ciando und Libri. Gibts da auch Alternativen? (Die liebsten Formate sind mir PRC und PDB)

Addison Wesley, Informit und Markt und Technik haben einige im Angebot (awl.de, informit.de, mut.de). Ich kaufe manchmal das jeweilige 'eBook des Tages' (PDF - nur Drucken ist eingeschränkt) - das gibt es für 1 - 3 Euro .

Danke für die Links. Ich bin aber auf der Suche nach Belletristik und Unterhaltungsliteratur (Hätte ich besser dazuschreiben sollen).

Wenn ich mich bei den mir bekannten eBook-Resellern umschaue bekomme ich leider immer den Eindruck das alle deutschen Neuerscheinungen entweder Diät-Ratgeber oder Parry Rhodan-Heftchen sind.

Vielleicht kennt ja jemand anders noch welche?

Stimmt, genau so ist es, ganz grauenvoll, immer die Schwerpunkte Kochen, Computer, Wirtschaft und Science Fiction, und dann vielleicht noch das eine oder andere Woerterbuch. Entsetzlich. Da muss sich noch allerhand tun.
