Converting : Incorrect Orientation of Word Graphics converted to ePub and Mobi

This software started great and only gets better, thanks to all!

When converting a DOCX Word document to either ePub or Mobi, the graphics are converted with incorrect orientation.

The images were pasted into Word rotated to the right and I used the Word rotate feature to correctly orientate the images. (The mouse is used to drag the image to a different orientation)

When converted from Word into ePub or Mobi, this Word change is not reflected.

Thanks!

The Editor has a tool to rotate images (the image file).

There is no 'rotate' in epub.

@WordMan - if the images have the wrong orientation before they are inserted into the Word document, then you could change the orientation in the original image file (or a copy) before you insert the image into Word.

On Windows IrfanView can be configured to put rotate clockwise and counter-clockwise entries into the shell menu. There's bound to be other programs that will do similar on other OS,s.

Thx! I have decided to use the edit feature in epub to fix this. I was also posting an FYI for future reference should the team wish to address this in future updates.
