Sony SDK?

I vaguely recall reading some time back that Sony was considering offering up their Reader SDK for developers to download, allowing them to make plugins to parse more content types.

Has this gone anywhere? Does anyone know?

The only thing I remember is that they were going to release the specs to the LRF format so that it could be supported by various book stores and such. Not sure if this was supposed to inclue the LRX format or not.

Anyway... I haven't heard of any SDK for Sony.

There were rumors of an SDK last year, but they were apparently only rumors.

They opened www.prslabs.com which seems to be just gathering dust at the moment.
