Development Revert with golden update?

Has anyone used the golden update to revert from ermine back to dingo 1.11 on the 10" edge?

- Was it successful?
- Issues?

The original links had an invisible character at the end, by copying and pasting into Notepad, the errant character was stripped.

Is the URL correct? Someone posted something yesterday about an errant character.

Meanwhile, enTourage has taken down more pages from their site. It could be that some of these download links are getting pulled as well.

I have tried it. I worked fine on my EE (just a disclaimer).

I updated to Froyo but the older apps were being weird. I just backed up my entire library on my PC (since it was on an SD card) and used the golden update to revert to Dingo 1.11. Just followed instructions (waiting 20 mins etc). No issues.

After reverting to 1.11, I did a clean install of Froyo. So far I am loving it. I even got the official You Tube app installed on it. The new email is great. There is now a setting for HTTP proxy. Most of the apps that work on Samsung Galaxy S work on EE now; except the Adobe reader. Even Opera 11 (not the mini) works fine.
Have not tried any games yet.

And boy the interface is super fast and responsive..

Where do I get the update file. I have a repair ticket for the battery and edge overheat issue...and was told I might have to revert to dingo to get help. But the link isn't working

I suspect enTourage is down to probably a single server machine (to cut costs), so the site can sometimes be really slow, so be patient.

the site at the top worked on my laptop. got a weird message on my edge. I got it now
thanks... just want to be ready if i need revert. after being on for about 1 hr... its hot again. sigh.

"Warm" is expected; "hot" isn't it. You may need a battery replacement.

Revert back to golden worked for me, although you will need to re-install all your apps you had installed before. Restoring your library does restore many settings.
