Android update -NOOK COLOR
Lots of chatter on the B&N community that the awaited update may be rolled out on Monday.
One thing I would like to know is can you prevent the software from being loaded or is it an automatic thing that your NC calls home when you are on wi-fi and the only way to prevent it is not activate wi-fi. My concern is that if they somehow update and lock it from being rooted. Just in case I would prefer to see what they do before mine is updated. Last edited by goldberry; 04-24-2011 at 11:53 AM. |

From your query it looks like you have a unrooted NC. The only solution is to keep your NC away from a Wi-Fi network. A previous update had happened automatically for a few folks.
