Change index split names after epub creation?

Dear all,

I created an epub from a rtf file, and it was split automatically into several 'index splits'. They read 'index_split_001_xhtml' etcetera.

Is it possible to change the names of these splits into real chapter names after the book is created? (I know it can be done during the book creation process).

Both calibre editor and Sigil include a feature to bulk rename selected files, using a prefix and a number.

So you will end up with e.g. "Chapter-01.xhtml" "Chapter-02.xhtml" etc.

Select the files you want to rename and select 'rename'. It works very well.
