Bin sooo begeistert vom Paperwhite!

Ehrlich gesagt wundert mich nur, warum der Kontrast ohne Beleuchtung in der puren Sonne vom Paperwhite schlechter ist als vom Vorgängermodell. Ich habe nämlich beide; zuerst nur das Einsteiger-Kindle geholt, das dann aber in der Familie weitergegeben und mir einen Paperwhite geholt, weil ich die Beleuchtung unbedingt wollte.

Nun, ich bin seeeehr zufrieden, aber das wundert mich schon. Das Vorgängerkindle hat einfach einen brillianten Kontrast und auch bei schrägen Blickwinkeln kann der Text super gelesen werden. Beim Paperwhite ist das meiner Meinung nach etwas eingeschränkter. Wenn man aber Licht an macht fühlt man sich einfach super wohl, also ich zumindest !

Ganz genau weiss ich es nicht, aber ich vermute mal stark das beim Paperwhite eine zusätzliche Glasschicht eingebaut wurde um das Licht optimal zu streuen, dadurch ist er ohne Beleuchtung etwas dunkler.
Das gleiche tritt auch bei Readern mit kapazitivem Touch-Display auf, und auch der Tolino ist einen Tick dunkler als der PRS-350

Soweit ich weiß, funktioniert der touch beim der Tolino über IR, während der PW kapazitiv ist.
