Calibre device drivers
Hello everyone,
thanks to all contributors for this great tool! I'd like to make Calibre sync over a network socket. It seems syncing requires a device driver, but those seem to only communicate via USB. Have I missed something, are device drivers actually more versatile, or is there even a completely different way of syncing? (Using the content server is not an option unfortunately..) Thanks in advance for any replies! |

device drivers are completely abstract. See for example the ipad device driver that talk to the ipad through itunes. Or the folder driver that connects to a folder on your computer.
Your biggest problem will be device detection. |
