Hi!

Just to pass the time:
Post your Iliad order status here if you have already ordered.
You can also use this thread to complain if you Iliad isn't shipped yet...and go over to the meditation thread afterwards...^^

I'm in the 'other' category, hoping for the DRM info before a final decision.

I think we need a Poll which excuse they have tomorrow. There are so much options out there ... From easiest "Ship sunk" to more complex like "Wow uh oh the costum makes problems shipping them out now" or "Phew we didn't know we have to contact UPS now we have to take another week to find out how to make them picking up all the packages" ....

And another poll what delay it'll be this time ... until monday? Or 1 week? Ah i can see it "Delivery starts on 1st August"

Sorry i need extreme meditation and a lot of drugs to believe this whole "SAP implementation" something and the "just not arrived yet but tomorrow" fairy tale.

Ah yes my status is "Already ripped of - but not delivered yet"

Please go to the meditiation thread immediately!

But on a serious side:
I hope that their stockpoint is already a UPS customer, because if not this could really lead to another delay. But that would be really unprofessional...

Ok, i cant keep quiet anymore, i have to tell you the truth.

THERE IS NO ILIAD.

iRex Technologies is a group of very talented young film students and CGI artists. they fabricated the whole thing and used lots of CGI to create al the videos and images we have seen so far.

Oh, and Henrycat is a bot that automatically replies with random information in unregular intervalls. Nice feature they build together there.

The homepage is not working so great, because none of the moviegeeks had a clue about HTML or PHP when they started. And so they invented this bogous webcompany from Germany, so they could blame someone else for that.

And when they found out, that they could let us help to help them to find people willing to give them lots of money, they were so overwhelemed by the uge numbers of people running into the sales trap, like lemmings over a cliff. And since still orders are coming in, they had to make up something new. But they didnt coordinate very well, and thats why we have the iLiads on a ship from the phillipines and a bad SAP connection.

But in a few days, when one of us, drive to Eindhoven and takes a look at the office, they will find nothing but lots of posters of mauritius and a very lonley answering machine. And on the floor a few sketches of the package design of our beloved iLiad.

good news everyone...iRex just told me that they are shipping. The first batch should receive their confirmation tomorrow.

I'm looking forward to seeing the reactions here...^^

Unfortunately I'll be missing some of the action because I'll be out of town tomorrow afternoon...:-)
