Advice on Readme files

Some forum members have been asking about readme files, which seem to be a bit confusing to newer members.
Here's the backgound, and how to download them:

Background
Our main server is in Canada and we obey Canadian copyright law. But we have some book uploads that are in the US public domain but not yet PD in Canada. So they are hosted off site in the US. Instead of the usual file attachment there's a little file called readme.html.

How to Download
1. Click on the readme.html file.
2. You will be asked whether you want to open it or to save it. Choose to open it.
3. You will be shown a link to the US server. Click on it. You can choose to open or to download the book.

I hope this helps. Do tell us of any problems.
