Uploading Zip files??
Is it ever permissible to upload a set of books by the same author as 1 or more zip files as long as there is some documentation in the message area as to which books are in the zip file? Or does each book always have to be in a separate upload? Just wondering because I am converting the text file versions of Zane Grey's books (those in PD in the U.S.) to epub and mobipocket formats and it's a lot of clicking to do each one separately from the others.

I think it's strongly preferred to have each book as separate upload. Some reasons:
1. That lets users download only the individual book(s) they want. 2. It makes the database more consistent. 3. It's easier to udate individual books, whenever it's needed. |
