Ich denke das interessiert Amazon schon. Den in dem Bereich sind sie sehr empfindlich.

Einfach mal wirklich zu sehen, wie ausgebeutete Wanderarbeiter mitten in Deutschland die Amazonpakete schnüren.. Das wirkt. Gerade bei diesem Amazon-Klientel.

Das hat nochmal eine andere Qualität als Menschen zu Niedriglöhnen arbeiten zu lassen, die überall bei uns in Deutschland inzwischen Alltag sind.

Nennt mich naiv, aber so etwas hatte ich nicht vermutet und werde daraus meine Konsequenzen ziehen.

Die Berichte haben übrigens inzwischen auch Großbritannien und die USA erreicht: Bericht hier (mit weiteren Links). Mal schauen, ob Amazon daraus ein ›deutsches‹ Problem zu machen versucht. Als Drittweltland abstempeln dürfte ja schwieriger sein.

Ich würde eher sagen, dass Amazon gängige USA-Methoden auch in Deutschland konsequent eingeführt hat.
Die LA Times hat schon vor 2 Jahren auf nicht akzeptable Arbeitsbedingungen in einem Auslieferungslager in Pennsylvania hingewiesen und das schien kein Einzelfall zu sein.
Leider hat Amazon aus diesem Vorfall anscheinend nichts gelernt.

Christopher Schroer verlegt Kunstbücher, Monografien, Ausstellungskataloge (Die Neue Sachlichkeit) und anspruchsvolle Belletristik (CH. SCHRŒR).

In einem offenen Brief erläutert er seine Entscheidung, Amazon aufgrund der skandalösen Zustände in den Auslieferungslagern nicht mehr mit seinen Werken beliefern zu wollen.

Ich finde Eure Aufregung ganz schön scheinheilig, oder ironisch.

Natürlich sind die Arbeits- und Lebensbedingungen diesen Leiharbeitern, sollte es tatsächlich so sein, eine Unverschämheit.

Nur wer von Euch kauft bei Aldi, Penny oder Lidl ein ? Irgend eine Ahnung wie die Leiharbeitern, die die Obst und Gemüse-Plantage, die für diese "oh-so-tolle-Angebote-habe-ich-noch-nie-gesehen-da-verpasse-ich-nie-die-Mittwochs-morgen" Laden, beackern, behandelt werden ? Nicht zu sprechen über die Herkunft deren Textilsachen ....!!! Und trotzdem käuft ihr feucht und fröhlich dort. Scheint keinen hier schlaflose Nächte zu geben. Oder sollen wir mal lieber wieder über Foxconn reden ?

Wer von euch für ein richtig grosses Unternehmen, à la Siemens, Deutsche Bank, SAP, Mercedes-Benz, Deutsche Telekom, ihr weisst schon, arbeitet ? Wer saübert Eure Büros denn? Schon mit diesen Leute mal gesprochen, und ich meine nicht "der Papierkorb sollte auch gelehrt (geleert, ich weiss.. ;-)) werden" ? Auch da mal gefragt, woher die kommen (und ich meine auch nicht die Stadt, sondern das Land), was die bezahlt werden, was deren Arbeits- und Lebensbedingungen sind, und das verglichen mit dem Jahresbilling der Reinigungsfirma? Schon mal dann die Klappe aufgemacht ?

Ich kenne die Stundensätzen, und auch das Profit/Leid Ratio. Es entschuldigt Amazon auf keinen Fall, aber so zu machen, als ob ihr so was zum ersten Mal liest und nie gedacht hättet, das es so was in Deutschland geben könnte, naja... Was Hess angeht, klar, finde ich schon grenzwertig, aber der Ruf von Sicherheitsfirmen im Allgemein ist nicht gerade blitzeblank, oder ?

Wie ich immer sage "Walk the Walk, don't talk the talk". Also ab morgen, kein Aldi, kein Lidl, kein Penny, kein Saturn, kein MediaMarkt, kein Rewe, kein Metro, kein.. kein...
kein.........mehr.

PS2: nach weiterem lesen von zusätzlichen Artikeln (englische Presse und Huffington) finde ich das Ganze gross wie ein Haus...und ich glaube nicht 100%ig dran. Ein Teil ist wahrscheinlich leider wahr, und ein Teil nicht. Nur welche ist welche ?

Ich würde ja auch gerne an diesen Demonstrationen teilnehmen, aber amazonlos ist gar nicht so einfach.

Amazonlos ginge ja noch, das Internet ist schliesslich gross genug, aber Aceflor hat schon recht, Aldi, Lidl und die anderen Discounter sind zwar im Kleinen aber trotzdem nicht viel besser, und die alltäglichen Einkäufe umstellen ist deutlich schwieriger.

Ganz unabhängig vom Zustand in den Amazon-Lagern, und ganz unabhängig von der Amazon-Onlineüberwachung ist das wohl etwas, was problematisch ist. Das liegt deutlich unterhalb des Niveaus einer Bahnhofsbuchhandlung oder der Buchecke eines Supermarktes.

Oder andersherum formuliert: Wenn ein Verleger, ein Künstler oder ein Autor zu der Ansicht kommt, dass er seine Werke in einem solchen Milieu nicht präsentiert sehen möchte, dann ist das zumindest für mich sehr gut nachvollziehbar.

Und das gilt für die Amazon-Klassikerausgaben in verstärktem Masse. Hier hast Du 132 Amazon-Reviews, das Digitalbuch ist mangelhaft. Das kümmert die nicht..

Und Ökotest ist Bekannter-und Erwiesenemassen nicht unabhängig und die Testmethoden sind teilweise zumindest sehr seltsam (Vor drei Jahren wurde Sonnencreme auf Hautverträglichkeit getestet, aber nicht auf Wirkung und Kinder-Autositze auf Schadstoffe aber nicht auf Sicherheit. Erstaunlicherweise sind die damaligen Testsieger bei Warentest /ADAC mit Pauken und Trompeten durchgefallen)
