same problem here
I have also the abovementioned problem with the scribble merger on a mac. If somebody could solve this, I would be very grateful..

however it still runs (for mac users) in the prompt:
e.g.: java -jar ILiad*jar -i:'/PATHTOFILE/PDFFOLDER.pdf' -o:test.pdf -m -c1:#555555 or type java -jar Iliad*jar -? |

Snow Leopard and Java-update fixes iLiadPdfScribbleMerger
Updating the operating system to Mac OS X 10.6 and accepting everything that Software Update offers after that seems to have fixed it! ILiadPdfScribbleMerger 1.8 works again for me.

ILiadPdfScribbleMerger 1.8 and Java for Mac OS X 10.6 Update 2
Software Update tells me: "Java for Mac OS X 10.6 Update 2 delivers improved compatibility, security, and reliability by updating Java SE 6 to 1.6.0_20."
But one question remains unanswered by this message. Will ILiadPdfScribbleMerger 1.8 still work? Considering how complicated it is to downgrade after such an upgrade, can anyone confirm I can safely upgrade? I need ILiadPdfScribbleMerger to work, so I can return corrected work to my students. |

Did you consider using xournal on the irex device itself to merge scribbles in a pdf?
