extract?

Have you tried the extract option instead of explode one in Convertlit?

I am not sure if that will help, someone with more experience will probably have more ideas for you.

As far as I am aware - if the books are DRM'd lit files, you can ONLY use ConvertLit to downconvert or explode the file if the file is keyed to MS Reader on THAT machine. In other words: If your friend buys a drm'd lit file and passes it to you, without downconverting or exploding it, then you will not be able to downconvert or explode it using ConvertLit. DRM'd lit files are keyed to the machine they were purchased on, since you must have an activated copy of MS Reader to download/open a DRM'd lit file.
So, if on the files you acquired, the drm was not already broken, you're not going to be able to do it.
I see the files are already downconverted to DRM 1, though, so I'm not exactly sure that that would be your issue.

Friendly advice? This forum does not support or condone illegally acquired files - so if yours from Pirate Bay are copyrighted material, I'd suggest you leave that information out of future posts
