Teleread reporting Stanza removed from App Store
Teleread is reporting that Stanza is no longer available in the US/Canada App Store.

Whether this is Amazon removing it or Apple rejecting it is not known. Either way I hope it is temporary!

They own Lexcycle - the company that developed Stanza.

The Lexcycle forums are updated to say that they are working with Apple to restore it. So some sort of technical glitch (perhaps). Fun for a while though!

With several million users, I don't think Amazon wants to just "throw away" what they've bought. I do think they'll eventually get around to merging their Stanza and Kindle apps. What's the point of keeping two? Add Stanza's features to the Kindle app, and then stop making Stanza.
