You didn't speak of a time frame. Any of the 14 others who share similar experiences want to comment on this?

And let's not forget: 3 to start a side discussion about compact florescent bulbs, 4 to debate whether solar or wind might be better sources of energy to power the bulbs, 1 who insists that reading in the dark isn't so bad, 7 to start another side discussion on whether CF bulbs will ever replace incandescent bulbs and what the industry ought to be doing to promote this, 2 to poo-poo any efforts to get the industry to change....

And let's not forget: the retro geek who discusses how he makes his own candles; the entirely irrelevant off topic discussion on the benefits of sunlight vs. lightbulbs that takes over the thread for about 30 posts; the several members who post what lightbulb their favorite author likes to use.

And three to defend illegal lightbulbs and re-ignite the moral versus legal discussion.

And someone who posts that light bulbs last longer if you just leave them on all the time instead of turning off when you leave the room.

Aren't lightbulbs actually dark-suckers? I disctinctly remember reading a *scientific* journal quite a few years back that proved light-bulbs don't emit light so much as they suck in the surounding dark thereby revealing the light that was already there to begin with...
Oh yeah, by the way... nah, I'll refrain from any grammatical/spelling recommendations regarding light bulbs; :P which are here to fore to be refered to as darksuckers/dark suckers/dark-suckers... ah, let's just call them mini-backholes, that's what they are anyway (remember, it's not that the darksucker is super-hot after it's been on for so long, it's simply the fact that the mini-blackhole is sucking all the cold out of your body making it feel as if it's burning you ) |

And someone else to post to remind us all that you're really just renting light bulbs because eventually you won't be able to use them because they burnt out.
