If you knew the history you would understand. Joblack is an admitted Apple hater, and a simple look at his post history shows his love of trolling iPad/iPhone discussions.

Of course anyone can post here, but believe me, his posting is not to help or contribute to the community. Sorry if somehow I offended you Sischa.....

I don't know about the "history" some people have, i am just interested in the ongoing news about the reception issue cause for me it seems much more serious then all the "heating iPad", "loosing WLAN" stories in the past.

And before considering buying a new iPhone i really want to keep an eye on that issue.

I'm not sure that there is a club mentality in this forum but I have to say that I don't think I've ever posted in a device forum for a device I don't own, expressing negative opinions about it.

I also have to wonder about the motives behind those who do it often with consistently negative needling quips.

There are slang labels that apply to that type of behavior since it is a well known internet forum phenomenom due, I guess, to the relative safety and annonimity forums afford compared face to face communications.

And I've also noticed that a disproportionate number of anti-Apple visitors to this forum seem to have an Irex Iliad listed in their sig... I don't know anything about the Iliad. Is there something about it that makes it more vulnerable to Apple's quick grab of a good chunk of market share? Genuinely curious about this last bit...

I know they are selling at an amazing rate, but no way would I order an iPhone 4 right now. I would wait until an update for sure......

If owning an iPad and posting in the Apple Devices forum my experiences with the iPad make me a troll than I guess I am.... Anyone can look at your posting history and see the obvious.....

But, I really do have other things to do than banter with a troll... hope you someday find other interest so you don't have to be one.... Perhaps post in your Irex forum? Lots of people having problems there, could use your expertise. Just a suggestion......

No, to generally give a hostile attitude and label people with different opinions trolls make you one.

I think everybody has the right to choose the forum threads they want to participate and nobody has to receive 'orders' from Mr. Cole who thinks only certain chosen people have the right to write in this thread.

Btw: As I opened this thread so I think you should show some manners, at least in this thread..

Without a doubt Steve's "don't hold it that way" remark was IMHO one of the top 25 dumb things said by a CEO of all time......

I think the best way to get results quicker on this is for people who have the problem to return the phone. I think they have something like 2 weeks or 30 days.....whatever to do so. If that started happening in mass, I wager a fix would come rather quickly.....

Return it and get what in its place, though? If there's any better "general purpose" mobile device available, I don't know what it is. The only person you'd be hurting by returning it is yourself, given that the problem is easily solved by the cheapest of cases.

I love allt eh news coverage the new Iphone has been getting. Jobs say hold the phone the in the other hand etc. It just makes me laugh
